Paul B. Mandell, Ph.D.
Paul B. Mandell is Associate Professor of Spanish (Applied Linguistics) at the University of Houston Downtown. Dr. Mandell’s research interests include Second Language Acquisition and Spanish Linguistics. He has conducted studies, published papers and books, and made conference presentations about the development of Spanish as a second language, communicative language teaching, Universal Grammar, and on-line language processing. He currently sits on the Board of the Association for Family and Community Integrity and is serving as the AFCI treasurer.
